Dr Chrisna Andersen

Dr Chrisna Andersen completed her MB.ChB degree at Stellenbosch University after which she completed her community service at Tygerberg, and Paarl Hospital.

Between 2005 - 2013 she spent her time training HIV clinics as well as nurses in the Boland area. After realising her passion for helping those with HIV/AIDS, she joined ANOVA Health, an NGO. Also from 2005, she works as a sub-investigator part-time for research studies in Mbekweni. This includes HIV, ARV's, TB, wound studies and now also Autism.

Dr Chrisna joined the Renewal Institute in 2018 and is proud to be a part of the Renewal Institute family. She describes how she loves to build relationships with her patients and be part of a process to witness them achieve their desired results.

An avid reader and hands on mom of three Dr Chrisna also loves nature and her Paarl home of 18 years is decorated with green plants throughout. It is evident that Dr Chrisna has a kind heart and big home as she shares it with many fur friends including two miniature schnauzers, a maine coon cat as well as a dwarf rabbit, budgie, teddy bear hamster and a baby lamb.

Dr Chrisna is eager to continue learning and keeps abreast of trends and best practice by regularly attending non-surgical, anti-ageing congresses and workshops. She is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa) and attends the monthly Skin Renewal doctors meetings in addition to the continuous in house training.

A doctor who has called Paarl home for her adult life Dr Chrisna consults from the Skin Renewal Paarl and Willowbridge branches in the Western Cape.
