Dr Dominique MyburghMBChB (Pret)
Dr Dominique Myburgh is the quintessential Gauteng transplant. Working out of the Claremont, Cape Quarter and Constantia branches in the Western Cape Dr Dominique graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2004. Dr Dominique moved to Hout Bay in the Western Cape in 2011 and describes how she has ‘never looked back.’
During the years in private practice, Dr Dominique developed a special interest in dermatology and aesthetics and completed various courses in aesthetic medicine. Dr Dominique started work at the Renewal Institute in February 2014 and underwent three months extensive in house training and shadowing of Dr Maureen Allem and numerous Skin Renewal doctors.
A mother of two who loves the outdoors she is often found hiking, geocaching or skating on the promenade in Sea Point. Always ready for a challenge Dr Dominique recently took up running and is working up to 10km. An intrepid adventurer Dr Dominique loves to explore different parts of South Africa explaining that her favourite road trip was one done 3 years ago when she travelled from Cape Town to Mozambique.
Dr Dominique certainly transfers her passion for gardening and interior renovations to her patients as she has an eye for aesthetics and enhancing natural beauty. She is eager to keep abreast of industry advancement and trends and regularly attends non-surgical, anti-ageing congresses and workshops and also undergoes continuous in house training in Skin Renewal and is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti-Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa).
