Dr Tarryn Christie is the embodiment of "dynamite does come in small packages". She is a competitive runner, passionate mother, medical doctor, avid reader and lover of art; all rolled up in an energetic and effervescent personality.
She studied somatology, physiotherapy and then later completed a full medical degree. It is because of this that Dr Tarryn has an apt understanding of the skin and body, and the powerful connection between the two.
She has always wanted to be involved in improving the wellness of her patients and believes that the Renewal Institute encompasses all the holistic qualities that will allow her to improve the overall health and confidence of her patients. Dr Tarryn joined the Renewal Institute in March 2018.
Dr Tarryn shared 'My guilty pleasure is sitting in the evenings enjoying a glass wine and reading a good book'. Dr Tarryn highly recommends 'The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse' by Charlie Mackesy as a delightful and inspiring work of art, and a coffee table must-have.
Dr Tarryn regularly attends non-surgical, anti-ageing congresses and workshops and also undergoes continuous in house training at Skin Renewal. She is a member of AAMSA (The Aesthetic & Anti Ageing Medicine Society of South Africa) and consults from the Cape Quarter, Claremont and Constantia branches.
