Ilona Swart

Ilona Swart was born and raised on the banks of the Vaal River, in Vanderbijl Park. She went on to finish her tertiary education in somatology in Potchefstroom, specialising in laser therapy, aromatherapy and reflexology.

She was extremely fortunate to start her career in 1999 at one of the very few aesthetic skin and laser clinics at that stage in Johannesburg. Working alongside plastic surgeons and dermatologists, it spiked her interest in cosmetic surgery and advanced skin care treatments.

Relocating to Pretoria, she worked as a beauty therapist for a couple of years where she then only realised how much she enjoyed laser therapies and advanced skin care. Ilona can proudly say that working at Renewal Institute, has now once again given her the opportunity to broaden her horizons, make a real difference to clients’ skin and live and breathe her passion.
