Michelle graduated from Camelot International in 2003 as a Health & Skincare Therapist obtaining various International Qualifications. She stayed on at the skin care centre where she initially joined as a student in 2002 and later formed part of the management team.
Looking for a new adventure and challenge, she decided to continue her career onboard a Luxury Cruise Liner as a Health & Skincare Therapist in 2007. Upon returning to South Africa, she joined a Boutique Hotel Spa and soon became part of the management team after working as a Health & Skincare Therapist for a year. As it was a new business, she had the opportunity grow the business to a successful operation.
In 2011, a Certification and Accreditation Body offered Michelle an opportunity to become part of their business working as a Project Manager, specializing in quality management systems and guest satisfaction programmes for spas. She was trained as a lead auditor in ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001 - Quality- and Environmental Management Systems. She was associated with Les Nouvelles Esthetiques assessing spas for International Awards and was affiliated with the South African Spa Association. During this time, she also offered Image Consulting services, both in the private and professional sector.
In 2013, she joined Renewal Institute and managed the Irene, Fourways and Brooklyn branches. In 2017, joined the Support Team and is responsible for branch and managers support & training and customer satisfaction for the Gauteng region. Currently, she is the acting manager at the Brooklyn branch.
